Portraits in Nature is a hand-crafted collection of realistic plush animals. Artists working in a socially responsible and environmentally responsible studio create each Hansa animal from portraits of the creature in its natural habitat.
The Hansa Story Artisan hand sew the animals "inside out", an old world tradition that results in the minimization of seams, and their bodies are carefully "sculpted" to create "musculature" and "features" like movement in a walking or sitting position that are unique to each creature. On average, there are 42 separate pieces required to make each animal, that must be combined by a team of truly creative artists to create the distinctly realistic features that characterize HANSA animals. (Some animals have as many as 240 different parts!) Each animal is individually hand sewn, to give it a unique "personality", there are more than 860 different fabrics and man-made furs from which the "coat" and "hides" are made, along with over 6000 sets of different eyes, whiskers, claws, noses, and related accessories allocated for creating these wonderful plush animals. Stuffing emphasizes careful attention to the placement of the highest quality man-made materials.When you hold these wonderfully "life-like" animals, you will see and feel HANSA's emphasis on quality, which is a result of careful attention to design, custom fabric selection, cutting, sewing, stuffing, eye placement, feature creation, framing, air brushing and finishing. Since each animal is hand sewn, there will be slight variations in appearance.

To clean product, use soft cloth, soap, and warm water to remove dirt then wipe with clean, moist cloth to remove soap. leave to dry then brush gently.
All Hansa plush animals are handcrafted using only new materials and complies to International safety standards EN71, ASTMF 96386, AS1647, BS5665. Please remove the Tag and Plastic strip before giving it to a child. Recommended age 3 years & up.

I bought my jackrabbit a while ago, and am just now leaving a review. The time is appropriate, with Easter coming up. Mr. Jackrabbit is so realistic, he could almost fool someone into believing he is real. His coloring is spot on and his eyes look right into your soul. I highly recommend this fantastic rabbit!

and stuffed. I saw your Jack rabbit on Amazon and was entranced by it. I told Dave and he said it was too much money for a stuffed animal. I kept it on my Amazon wish list wishing that he would buy it for me. One day I looked at my wish list and it was no longer listed - Amazon said it was no longer available. My heart was broken. I must tell you that a jack rabbit had been in my dreams for the past six months before I had seen yours on Amazon and looked exactly like the one in my dreams. Well, Dave tracked it down and ordered it directly from you placing it in my room where I meditate. I did not see it at first and when I did I thought it was real. I was brought to tears. He is my dream come true. So real! The craftsmanship is unreal. The fur is like petting a real rabbit. The picture does not do it justice. Sometimes I still have a little start when I see him, believing he is real. My husband agrees and feels a little spooked by his "realness". He agrees the price was totally worth it. I love my "Jack" and he sits besides me each day when I meditate. If we ever win the lottery our house will be filled with your magical animals. Thanks so much for your work! LInda
