Marsupial now restricted to Tasmania. Formerly widely distributed in Australia as well but, because it is believed that it killed large numbers of livestock & poultry, it was exterminated there. It is 52-80 cm in head & body length, with a tail 23-30 cm long, Stays in burrows or in dense brush during the day, at night, preys on rodents and other small animals

Each animal is individually hand sewn, to give it a unique "personality", there are more than 860 different fabrics and man-made furs from which the "coat" and "hides" are made, along with over 6000 sets of different eyes, whiskers, claws, noses, and related accessories allocated for creating these wonderful plush animals. Stuffing emphasizes careful attention to the placement of the highest quality man-made materials.When you hold these wonderfully "life-like" animals, you will see and feel HANSA's emphasis on quality, which is a result of careful attention to design, custom fabric selection, cutting, sewing, stuffing, eye placement, feature creation, framing, air brushing and finishing. Since each animal is hand sewn, there will be slight variations in appearance.

To clean product, use soft cloth, soap, and warm water to remove dirt then wipe with clean, moist cloth to remove soap. leave to dry then brush gently.
All Hansa plush animals are handcrafted using only new materials and complies to International safety standards EN71, ASTMF 96386, AS1647, BS5665. Please remove the Tag and Plastic strip before giving it to a child. Recommended age 3 years & up.

Almost looks like the real thing, but a tad more badger-like. All of your stuffed animals are amazing. However, I will note that for my last purchase, I ordered a chipmunk. Chippy or Chipper was his name. You instead sent a hamster. I tried to contact you via this website, but received no response. Even my mother in-law noticed he was a hamster. Oops!
But your plush animals are still wonderful!
Lovely replica of an endangered species that's close to my heart, having seen them in Tasmania several years ago. Realistic and yet also cuddly, quite the feat. :-)

Although I have never actually seen one of these up close and personal, it looks just like the photographs I have seen. There is very close attention to detail, down to the whiskers and it was protected well when shipped.
