Carrion-eating birds. Eurasian and African vultures probably descended eagle-like birds. Nearly all vultures are large birds with a naked head and hooked bill. Ranges from 63-70 cm. in length. American vultures are generally silent except for hissing and grunting sounds, such as those made by these turkey vulture nestlings.

The Hansa Story Artisan hand sew the animals "inside out", an old world tradition that results in the minimization of seams, and their bodies are carefully "sculpted" to create "musculature" and "features" like movement in a walking or sitting position that are unique to each creature. On average, there are 42 separate pieces required to make each animal, that must be combined by a team of truly creative artists to create the distinctly realistic features that characterize HANSA animals. (Some animals have as many as 240 different parts!) Each animal is individually hand sewn, to give it a unique "personality", there are more than 860 different fabrics and man-made furs from which the "coat" and "hides" are made, along with over 6000 sets of different eyes, whiskers, claws, noses, and related accessories allocated for creating these wonderful plush animals. Stuffing emphasizes careful attention to the placement of the highest quality man-made materials.When you hold these wonderfully "life-like" animals, you will see and feel HANSA's emphasis on quality, which is a result of careful attention to design, custom fabric selection, cutting, sewing, stuffing, eye placement, feature creation, framing, air brushing and finishing. Since each animal is hand sewn, there will be slight variations in appearance.

To clean product, use soft cloth, soap, and warm water to remove dirt then wipe with clean, moist cloth to remove soap. leave to dry then brush gently.
All Hansa plush animals are handcrafted using only new materials and complies to International safety standards EN71, ASTMF 96386, AS1647, BS5665. Please remove the Tag and Plastic strip before giving it to a child. Recommended age 3 years & up.

Looks like a real turkey vulture, a flock of which landed on my property. The vulture, however, should be a bit larger.
I've purchased quite a few stuffed animals from Hansa, and I must say that this vulture is one of my favorites. His picture on your website doesn't do him justice. He comes with a flash of peachy pink on his throat. Save for his size, one might just believe that he's real. Thank you once again, Hansa, for another spectacular creation!

I have always been an advocate for the "least of these" and what fits that better than a vulture? Your execution of this guy both Makes him believably unattractive and also sympathetic. the coloring on his neck and head, while still soft gives the impression of flesh. Again, he is possible so he can stand up erect or relax. Absolutely beautiful !
This was actually an impulse buy for me when buying something else for my nieces because I just think vultures are cool. Looks awesome perched atop my extra large digital clock. No regrets!!
